Objective

Telemedical support that gives citizens with chronic lung disease COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) the possibility to continuously measure lung function and oxygen saturation, as well as worsening of symptroms, to get quick advice from a nurse via videoconferencing in the day time. The citizens can via an acute medical box in the home be put in acute treatment in an instant, including antibiotics and anti anxiety medication. The aim is to present worsening of symptoms, improve the citizen's quality of life and to prevent acute hospital admissions.

On 1st September 2016, 62 citizens are included. At the moment no more citizens are being included as we are waiting for the Region for the Capital's model.
